TEXAS - An American Eagle flight from Dallas to Moline, Illinois made an emergency landing shortly after take-off.
The pilot of flight 3400 diverted the plane to Greenville, Texas after reporting smoke in the cockpit.
The airline says the landing was done out of an abundance of caution and none of the 48 passengers and crew on board were injured in the incident.
A passenger on the plane, says firefighters on the ground extinguished something outside the plane shortly after it landed.
Passengers were eventually bused back to Dallas about 50 miles away.
