Fizz Boom Read this Summer at Corpus Christi Libraries

CORPUS CHRISTI - Now that school is out, many parents will be looking for creative and fun ways to keep their children busy for the summer. The Corpus Christi Public Library System is partnering with parents in that process through its 2014 Summer Reading Program "Fizz Boom Read."

Readers of all ages will be engaged in activities that are expected to include fun science experiments and arts and crafts. Special guests will also be on hand with various animals or to demonstrate additional science experiments.

The program is free and open to all ages, with prize drawings, story hours and a reading club.

Registration begins today (June 9th). For more information, contact the library at (361) 937-6569 or visit www.cclibraries.com.
