LIVE OAK COUNTY - Five people were injured in an accident in Live Oak County around 7:30 this morning.
According to the Department of Public Safety, a Chevy Tahoe with California license plates was heading north on Interstate 37 near George West when the driver lost control and rolled over into the median.
Two adults and three children, all female, were taken to area hospital. At least one person has critical injuries. Corporal Charlie Ramirez with DPS says three medical helicopters were used to transport the victims.
The 47-year-old driver went to University Hospital in San Antonio. A 22-year-old passenger and 4-year-old passenger were taken to Christus Spohn Memorial in Corpus Christi.
A 3-year-old and 18-month old were taken to Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi.
