Five Finalists for Naming of New CCISD High School

CORPUS CHRISTI - A CCISD board has chosen five finalists for the naming of the new southside high school now under construction on Cimarron Boulevard. The CCISD Board of Trustees will vote on the names October 14th.

The recommendations are:

  • Chris and Robert Adler (Community Leaders; Chris Adler is also a former CCISD Trustee)
  • General Marc Cisneros Memorial High School (Retired Lt. General, US Army; currently CEO of the Kenedy Memorial Foundation)
  • Joe A. Gonzalez (Founder-Joe A. Gonzalez (JA) Education is Our Freedom GED College Scholarship Program; Nueces County Commissioner for Precinct 2)
  • Loyd Neal High School (Nueces County Judge)
  • Veterans Memorial High School (In honor of all veterans)
