CORPUS CHRISTI- We had lots of clouds and wind on Friday in reaction to a developing storm system out to our west. We will see some rain showers Sunday followed by much cooler temperatures again by early next week. Here are the details.
As a cold front and storm system approach north Texas our winds humidity clouds and temperatures will continue to increase headed into the weekend. The greatest instability with this system will be north of the Coastal Bend so yes it will rain in the area but the rainfall will be in the form of scattered activity on Sunday. Much colder air (for March) will follow the front for most of next week.
After a muggy unseasonably mild night, Saturday we can expect considerable cloudiness with some late day sun mixed in, windy warm and humid with a high of 84. Winds will gust near 40 mph.
Tonight will be windy humid and unseasonably warm with a few sprinkles and a low of 69.
Sunday expect scattered showers and thundershowers more likely north with a high of 75 then turning colder again Sunday night.
Have a nice weekend and enjoy what rain we get on Sunday.
