CORPUS CHRISTI - The Muscular Dystrophy Association says firefighters in Corpus Christi were able to collect $104,768 in donations during their fill the boot campaign.
Members of Local 936 of the International Association of Fire Fighters asked for donations at intersections across town during the first three weeks of March.
Donations to MDA help fund research, medical clinics, summer camps, and support groups for families affected by neuromuscular disease.
