CORPUS CHRISTI - An electrical short caused a small fire inside a home on Elizabeth Street this afternoon. Fire officials say the spark started a fire in the walls causing smoke to pour out of the attic window. The residents got out safely and fire crews managed to salvage their belongings. It took crews 20 minutes to put out the flames. The house only has minimal damage so the residents can return back home.
