CORPUS CHRISTI -- Firefighters rushed out to a home on Bonner this evening.
That's near the intersection of Holly and Everhart.
Investigators say plastic left on the stove started the fire.
It took firefighters about seven minutes to get the fire under control.
The kitchen and a back bedroom -- near the kitchen -- received some smoke damage.
Everyone got out of the home OK and no one was hurt.
