Fire Ants Invade Solar Estates Park

CORPUS CHRISTI - Fire ants are taking over some parks in Annaville. Ant hills have cropped up in the Solar Estates Park near Leopard and Rand Morgan Road. People who use the park called us asking for help in getting something done about the problem.

We called the Corpus Christi Parks Department and were told no one had reported the problem previously. They now plan to have someone out on the area to take care of the ants in a couple of days.
