SYRIA - The fighting in Syria is intensifying even more as President Bashar Al-Assad tries to hang on to his power.
U.S. officials say Syrian government troops have launched scud missiles at rebels trying to overthrow the government.
The rebel forces hit back, detonating a car bomb at the Syrian Interior Ministry that killed five people.
The rebel groups are gaining more international legitimacy as countries, including the United States, recognize them to be the legitimate representative of the Syrian people.
