CORPUS CHRISTI - During a Corpus Christi Police Department briefing on today's synthetic pot raids, Capt. David Cook of CCPD said, "Everyone of these locations dealt illegal, synthetic marijuana products."
Cook says the department is seeking indictments against the owners and managers of the 8 shops that were raided today.
District Attorney Mark Skurka said, "make no mistake this stuff is illegal. Doesn't matter what the package says." Most of the items seized today are marketed as incense and include labels that read 'not for human consumption.'
