KLEBERG COUNTY- The Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded grants to the City of Kingsville for the construction of two large domes for use as community safe rooms.
We're told the two domes will be similar to the one that was built in Woodsboro last year.
FEMA is providing $3.4 million of the $4.5 million cost of the project.
Officials say people in Kingsville and Kleberg County will be able to use the multi-purpose buildings during storms and tornadoes.
