Felon Caught With Weapons After Bar Fight

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police say they arrested a convicted felon for carrying a weapon inside a local bar early this morning. According to police, 31-year-old Alex Tober was questioned after a fight at a bar near Carroll Lane and S. Padre Island Drive.

Tober was carrying a knife and a police-style expandable baton. A woman who was with him had a pistol in her purse.

Officers believe the gun belongs to Tober and he placed it in the purse before police arrived.

The other person involved in the fight did not cooperate with police and refused to medical treatment at the scene.
