CORPUS CHRISTI- It was very windy and noticeably cooler today and in spite of a brief warm up headed into Christmas the overall trend in temperatures is down and below normal for most of the next 2 weeks. We had a daytime high of only 64 after being 85 yesterday. Here is what is happening.
A strong cold front moved thru South Texas last night and will drop our temperatures from record high levels to below normal levels the next couple of days. It will be unseasonably warm on Christmas Eve and Christmas day ahead of the next cold front Tuesday night. Expect very windy conditions today then very light winds Friday and the first half of Saturday.
Tonight mainly clear and calming down and colder with a low of 35 with a light freeze north and west.
Friday will be beautiful crisp and cool with light wind and mostly sunny skies and a high of 62.
Expect a warming trend over the weekend.
