TEMPLE - An investigation is underway to see how almost half a million dollars disappeared from the Temple Civic Theatre over the past six years.
Theater board president Jody Donaldson says the community theater board's members first noticed the discrepancy in the spring when $25,000 disappeared from their checking account.
After further investigation, they found more than $450,000 was missing over the last several years.
An FBI forensic accounting team in San Antonio is helping with the investigation.
The investigation is centering around a former business manager who was the only one with online access to the account, where debit card cash withdrawals were found to made at an Oklahoma casino.
