TEXAS - The family of a Texas man aboard the missing Malaysian jet is not giving up hope.
IBM Executive Philip Wood is one of the 239 passengers aboard the disappeared plane, which was heading to Beijing.
Wood's family believes he is still alive.
"I know he's strong, a strong guy and he's a smart guy and he can survive things," said Philip Wood's brother, Tom Wood. "He can survive this. He can, he is surviving this."
The family said they're frustrated with the lack of information, but their faith in God pushes them to believe Philip Wood is still out there.
Wood's girlfriend has even set up a facebook page, titled "Finding Philip Wood".
"It feels like there might be a good ending to this. I mean, we're believing there's a miracle in this coming, you know, something, God's got bigger plans," said Wood's brother. "He's going to use this for even greater purposes."
Investigators are saying it's still too early to know whether the plane landed intact or crashed.
