CORPUS CHRISTI -- Christmas came early for a local family after their stolen SUV was returned to them Monday.
Police say the SUV was stolen back on the December, 16. Today, an aunt of the owner spotted the stolen car at Ayers and Gollihar and followed it. She also called her niece and police who stopped the SUV at Nueces Bay Boulevard.
The driver was arrested for stealing the car. Police say two passengers had no idea the SUV was stolen and were released. The owner was allowed to drive the vehicle home.
