Family Dollar Robbed at Gunpoint

CORPUS CHRISTI - A man believed to be armed with a pistol robbed a Family Dollar store this morning. Clerks told police a white man with a tattoo on his neck walked in just before 11 a.m. and demanded cash.

He took off running down Staples Street towards Elizabeth. Police say he was wearing a white shirt and khaki shorts.

Officers were unable to find the man in the area. No one was injured in the robbery.
