CORPUS CHRISTI- It was a summery day in South Texas here in the latter part of October. Temperatures topped 90 degrees with light southerly breeze. A major cold front is headed our way and it will finally feel like fall after frontal passage around daybreak Friday. Here are the details.
Today was the last day of summer-like weather as the strongest cold front of the season will push thru the area on Friday mornign. Unfortunately the upper level dynamics are not conducive for major rain to occur with the front but we will have a few scattered showers before turning much cooler. Temperatures will eventually reach the lowest levels in over 6 months. Here are the details.
Tonight scattered showers will develop along and ahead of our cold front turning windy and cooler by daybreak with a low of 69.
Tomorrow will be damp windy and noticeably cooler with a few showers and a high of 74.
Temperatures will fall into the 50's Friday night late and eventually into the upper 40's Saturday night.
