CORPUS CHRISTI - A team of experts is now looking over the debris from the home explosion that destroyed three homes and damaged dozens more on and around Holmes Drive.
The July 12th blast fatally injured 60-year-old Robert Farley. He was being treated at a San Antonio burn unit with 25-year-old Ryan Conner, who remains in critical condition.
The experts on site today are from the City of Corpus Christi and insurance companies representing homeowners.
Fire investigators believe a natural gas leak caused the explosion, but have not nailed down yet where the leak originated or how no one in the neighborhood had reported a leak with the potential to cause so much damage.
