CORPUS CHRISTI - Daisy Deleon, 27, of Corpus Christi, Texas is charged with evading arrest after police say she left the scene of a disturbance and crashed her Chevy Impala into a tree overnight.
Officers showed up on Francesca Street to try and resolve a dispute between Deleon and her ex-boyfriend. Police say Deleon refused to turn off her car for officers, then sped off.
Officers were able to find out where she lives, but as they headed to her home, they found her crashed car.
Deleon was checked out by paramedics, who gave officers the all clear to take her to the City Detention Center. She was also wanted on Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear and violation of promise to appear.
