CORPUS CHRISTI - An ethics complaint filed against City Manager Ron Olson has been dismissed by the City Ethics Committee.
A retired firefighter named John Sendejar filed the complaint several weeks ago, and says that Olson intentionally delayed or shutdown the Fire Station 18 project.
That fire station was approved by voters in a bond election back in 2008, but still hasn't been built.
In the complaint, Sendejar seems to reference the project, but never makes any direct mention of Fire Station 18.
The Ethics Committee felt the complaint wasn't clear in explaining what the actual ethical violation was.
The city says Sendejar does have the opportunity to resubmit the complaint if he chooses.
