CORPUS CHRISTI - A front desk clerk for a business in the 4600 block of Ocean Drive made the mistake of leaving an envelope with more than $1,000 in cash behind as they left their work area last week.
Police say a man came into the business on the afternoon of January 16th and found the envelope while no one was looking. Fortunately, there are surveillance cameras in the front area. Investigators did not mention what type of business the suspect stole from.
The suspect seen in the video is a 5'6" to 5'9" tall bearded man, weighing 150-170 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. He had on a knit cap, glasses, tan jacket and a green shirt.
If you can identify him, call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS, or submit a tip online at www.888tips.com.
