CORPUS CHRISTI - Ed Hicks Nissan celebrates 40 years in business by rewarding employees who served customers for decades.
The dealership started selling Datsun in '73 until the Japanese brand changed over to Nissan. 40 years later, the family owned dealership is one of the largest in South Texas.
In a special ceremony on Monday, 4 employees were presented with Rolex watches for their ten years of loyal service.
Master Technician Javier Vera got an even bigger surprise for his 40 years of work. Gloria Hicks gave him the choice of a brand new Nissan Altima or Nissan Frontier.
That's a tough decision, but he decided to go with an Altima.
