ATLANTA - An American doctor who contracted the Ebola virus while working in west Africa will be released from an Atlanta hospital later today.
Doctor Kent Brantly has been undergoing treatment at Emory Hospital since August 2nd.
Hospital officials say his latest blood test have come back negative for the virus.
A second Ebola patient, Nancy Writebol has also been undergoing treatment at Emory.
Both patients have been kept in isolation inside the hospital as they received treatment.
Along with Brantly's release, hospital officials are also expected to update the condition of Writebol later today.
