CORPUS CHRISTI -- Parts of 10th Street and Mary Street had to be shut down this morning after a crash.
Police a pick-up truck crashed into a power pole, causing the live wires to come down with it. The truck also lodged onto a gas meter. The impact caused natural gas to leak into the air.
The truck finally stopped in a homeowner's yard when it hit a tree. The home was not evacuated.
The city's gas division and AEP were called out to fix both of those issues.
At last check, police were still looking for the driver of the truck.
