CORPUS CHRISTI -- A fire damaged a local motel early this morning. Firefighters responded out to the fire at the Cactus Motel around 1:15 this morning. When they arrived, they saw plenty of flames and smoke.
It took them about half an hour to get the fire under control. All of the different rooms made it more difficult for crews to fight the fire.
Right now, investigators don't know where or how the fire started. Some of the motel rooms were occupied at the time of the fire, but everyone is okay.
