CORPUS CHRISTI- It was nice while it lasted but our chance for any rain will plummet. The tropical air over the region has been pushed to the west and much drier air has dropped into the Gulf coast. This will dry out the atmosphere for the next seven days. An isolated sea breeze shower is possible today but don't expect much. Sunny, hot and humid for the Labor Day weekend. Highs 94. Highs into the weekend into the upper 90's.
The tropics remain quite with no tropical storms.
