Drug Debt Sparks Feud Play Video

CORPUS CHRISTI - "I am sick to death. Tomorrow, I'm going to go get me a gun," said Charles Wheeler.

The homeowner is gearing up for war after the windows of his son's car are smashed in.

Wheeler says for the past month his home has been assaulted as payback for an unsettled dispute between his son and another teenager over 50 dollars used to buy marijuana.

And with damage to his home and property escalating, Mr. Wheeler says, his once peaceful home is turning into a war zone.

With shattered glass spilled across his driveway, Charles says the feud has no sign of ending. And that the future only holds more violence for his son and the other teen.

"When my son sees this he's going to go ballistic. And he's going to get his friends together and there's going to be a war," said Wheeler.

The homeowner says that he feels the police have done nothing. But officers on scene told us they are investigating the matter and will be looking into any leads they find. While wheeler says he will be resorting to deadly force to protect himself and his loved ones.

The homeowner said, "If anybody comes on this property that doesn't belong here they're gone. I'm not going to ask questions. I'm going to shoot and ask questions afterward."

And with this conflict coming to a violent peak, the heart ache of a father who's son is wrapped up in the world of drugs weighs heavily on Wheeler.

"It's killing me. It's definitely killing me."

I wonder if this guy follows through with it and does kill anyone on his property if he will be charged....

One has to wonder about the parenting skills exhibited here. Is the father condoning the use of an illegal drug by his son, and if so, then why not pony up the 50 dollars to pay the other teen. I do not believe we have the whole story here, and because of this, incorrect assumptions are bound to be made.

Its a shame it has come to that but I honestly don't blame the man for his agressive words. They have done alot of damage to his house and vehicle and that is money out of his pocket. I hope the kids are caught before he kills anyone. Good luck in finding them.

Sad,Sad,Sad it is completely crazy that this is even happening to this man. However that said the fact that he knows precisely why it is happening is even more shocking. Don't blame the police sir start by looking in the mirror for putting up with your wanna be thug son and not kicking him to the curb. Your tolerance for this whole mess might as well just be handled by giving your pot head son the fifty dollars to pay the debt, congratulations on publicly incriminating yourself with intent. Also to the little thugs trying to play gangsta, you guys must be real ballers for $50.00
