CORPUS CHRISTI - Local farmers have their fingers crossed, in hopes of some last minute rain before planting season arrives.
Today, a symposium was held at Del Mar College's West Campus, during which climatologist, Dr. John Gammon discussed the causes and effects of our area's ongoing drought.
We spoke with a farmer, Wayne Miller and you will hear his family's struggles on tonight's 6pm newscast.
