CORPUS CHRISTI - A driver who does not have a license or insurance was given several tickets this afternoon for snapping a power pole in half.
The driver went off the road and almost into someone's backyard in the crash.
Power will be out to a few homes in the area as AEP crews replace the snapped power line.
An officer gave him tickets for failure to control speed, expired auto registration, expired inspection sticker, no insurance and no driver's license.
The car will be impounded.
