CORPUS CHRISTI - EMS crews took two teenagers to the hospital after the driver of a truck ran them over at the beach. Police said the 18-year-olds were sunbathing behind the truck when a 30-year-old friend or family member got in and decided to leave.
Not seeing them, he ran over both girls on their torsos. Halo took one girl to Spohn Memorial while an ambulance took the other to the same hospital; both we're told were in serious but stable condition. Park state investigators and C.C.P.D. are investigating the accident since the driver may have been drinking. The charges will depend on the severity of the girl's conditions.
