CORPUS CHRISTI- One man had to be rescued from his truck after an overnight accident on the 35 hundred block of Ayers.

Police say that the man driving the truck rear-ended a van just before 3am on Thursday morning.

The man was stuck in his truck, and EMS crews had to use the jaws of life to get him out.

Police say the man wasn't seriously injured, and he will have his blood drawn to see if alcohol was a factor in the accident.

The people in the van weren't hurt.
