CORPUS CHRISTI - Police say a young driver, swerving to miss a cat, ended up hitting a house instead!
Early Saturday morning, officers say the 19 year old woman, driving East-bound on Mccardle, swerved around the cat. But couldn't stop her car and she ended up going into a house on Archer Drive.
No one inside the home was hurt. Officers say the driver went to the hospital, but she'll be ok.
She'll also get a ticket for causing the accident. Officers say if you're ever in this situation, don't swerve, instead brake and try to stop the car until the animal moves.
