Driver Arrested for Drugs at License Checkpoint

CORPUS CHRISTI - A man stopped at a drivers license checkpoint at Richter and Sacky Drive was arrested last night on drug possession charges. According to police, Michael Dominguez, 37, acted nervous when he was asked to roll down his window.

Police say the smell of marijuana in the car prompted them to conduct a search. Officers seized a small amount of marijuana, several baggies containing cocaine and meth and $1,300 in cash.
