Dragging Victim Remains in the Hospital

CORPUS CHRISTI - A 20-year old man who was dragged by a car remains in the intensive care unit.

Family members have identified the victim as Robert Puentes.

Police say Puentes has a severe concussion and may need surgery.

We're told he was selling a pair of shoes to someone inside a car at Fig Street and Bonita Street, when that car took off.

Police say the car dragged Puentes down the street until he fell and hit his head on the pavement.

Police are looking for a silver or gray Impala.

The driver is described as a man with short hair. his passenger was a woman with glasses and highlights in her hair.

Police have not receive any tips and are asking for anyone with information to please call them.
