Dog Reunited With Owner, Two Years Later

CORPUS CHRISTI - A dog belonging to a man living outside San Antonio was found in Corpus Christi, nearly two years after he went missing.

Brandon Baumann adopted a beagle mix in 2012. A few months after he took " Archer" home, he slipped out the backyard and disappeared.

Brandon searched for weeks, but eventually gave up hope...until he got a call two years later from Animal Control Officer, Christina Brown in Corpus Christi.

Brown says someone living on Red Star Street in Flour Bluff reported the dog as a stray. Animal Control came out to pick him up. When they got back to the shelter, Brown checked for a microchip - and found one.

After doing some digging, Brown managed to get in touch with Brandon's family. Brandon wasn't able to make it to Corpus Christi to pick "Archer" up, but he wanted him back. So a volunteer with Animal Control drove more then two-hundred miles to return "Archer" to his family.
