CORPUS CHRISTI -- Council members also want more information on the Destination Bayfront project.
They're due to vote in three weeks on a resolution that would support the project to renovate the city's bayfront.
But, at today's council meeting, there were a lot of questions for project leaders about funding and maintenance.
If council approves Destination Bayfront, taxpayers would have to vote for a $41 million bond.
The city wants more assurances that the group will secure the financing for the project.
The council will vote in July on whether or not there will be a November bond election.
