HOUSTON (KPRC) - Texas deputies say a welfare check at a Houston area home turned into a more than $2 million drug bust.
Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constables said it all started when neighbors called them Monday evening to report a strange odor coming from a home.
When deputies arrived, they said there were two cars in the driveway, but no one was inside the home.
They noticed a back door was open, so they took a look inside. Inside, investigators said they found a massive drug operation.
