CORPUS CHRISTI - The Medical Examiner has identified 29-year-old David K. Holley of Union, Mississippi as the crew member found dead yesterday at the Port of Corpus Christi. An official cause of death has not been released as the Medical Examiner is waiting on toxicology results.
Holley, a crew member of the tugboat "Ann Blessey", was last seen around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday as he prepared to end his watch at Oil Dock #11.
The Corpus Christi Police Department's Dive Team, Port of Corpus Christi Police and the US Coast Guard conducted a search for the man all day long. A body was found about 12 hours later.
The Chairman and CEO of Blessley Marine Services, Inc said the company would not be making any further statements on the incident until more details were known about what happened.
