KINGSVILLE - Kingsville police are investigating a fatal stabbing that they learned about when the suspect called them.
Around 5 p.m. Thursday, 34-year-old Mark Barbour called police from a Kingsville convenience store.
He told the dispatcher he had been in a fight and he had hurt the other guy.
He said he was afraid he had gone too far.
Barbour gave police an address in the 600 block of East Henrietta.
When police got there they found 48-year-old Juan Manuel Garza inside his home dead.
Garza had been stabbed multiple times.
Police say there's been a history of bad blood between the two men and ten years ago they had been involved in another fight.
The suspect is cooperating with investigators and is now in custody.
Charges are pending.
