Dangerous Driver and Passengers Escape Police Near Robstown

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police searched 30 acres of brush near Five Points last night looking for a group of people inside an SUV accused of almost running other drivers off the road.

An officer on Northwest Boulevard spotted the Nissan speeding along the access road headed towards Robstown. The driver almost hit two cars.

As soon as the officer hit her lights, the driver sped up then pulled off onto County Road 44 where everyone bailed out.

Even though police dogs were called in to find the group, no one was ever arrested.
