DALLAS (NBCDFW.com) - Police are investigating a call of multiple gunshots that may have hit a 12-story building in Dallas.
Dallas Police Public Information Officer Warren Mitchell says a call came in around 3:08 p.m. Friday afternoon with two shots reportedly fired around the area of 4131 North Central Expressway.
The building is home to several offices, including CBS Radio.
At least one shot hit a window at the office of Pete Schulte, an attorney that works on the sixth floor of the building, which shattered the glass.
He sent a message to KXAS that reads, "Someone just shot out the window in my office off central at about 3:10pm. I heard the gun shot and then the glass shattered in my office on the 6th floor of my uptown office high rise. Sure makes me feel safe."
Schulte told NBC 5 he believes the double plane glass stopped the bullet from entering his office.
Chopper 5 observed damaged to windows on the fifth floor of the building as well.
Less than 2 hours later a crew was already at work replacing the broken panes of glass.
