Cardio, an exercise that seems to be least favorable for some people; however, for Ray's Cross Country Team, cardio is their companion. This Saturday, the team will be participating in the Miller Invitational at West Guth Park starting at 8 in the morning. You may think this a regular race, but these cross country runners will be at each other's throats because this race will determine who makes Varsity, and who gets left behind in J.V.
"It's just to die for", says Mark Carrillo, a sophomore who's on the team for his second year. He and other hopeful runners are anxious to show their coaches what they got tomorrow at the meet. If you want to see this exciting race, or have nothing to do on a Saturday, go to this meet!
