WASHINGTON, D.C. - Russians gathered in Red Square Tuesday cheered their annexation of Crimea, along with the man who made it happen, Vladimir Putin.
In an emotional speech to Russia's elite, Putin boasted about restoring Russian lands and power, claiming Crimea has always been part of Russia.
Putin denied he sent Russian troops into Ukraine, saying they were already there, and denied he'll take more territory in the country.
Few Ukrainians trust that promise.
