Cow Causes Fatal Accident

Cow Blamed for Fatal Car Accident

ALICE - Troopers say a cow caused a fatal chain of events just outside Alice. DPS Troopers said Tomas Trevino was driving his Chevy pickup North on FM 625 when he hit a cow Saturday night. His truck stopped on the other side of the road.

That's when 44-year-old Alejandro Rodriguez, driving the other way, hit Trevino's truck. Rodriguez died at the scene of the crash. Three other people were hurt. Troopers say no one was wearing a seatbelt.
