Couple Steals Baby Dinosaur Replica From Museum

NORTH CAROLINA - Police in Raleigh, North Carolina are looking for a young couple caught on camera stealing a baby dinosaur replica from a museum.

Security footage shows one of them climbing over a divider at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences to steal the replica valued at some $10,000.

The stolen polymer resin model of an Edmontosaurus (duck-billed) hatchling is about 12-14 inches long.

Police say the two are also suspects in a similar offense that happened on the same day at the Museum of History.

There they got away with an item valued at $1,000.
