Corpus Christi Woman Killed in FM 665 and FM 70 Crash

CORPUS CHRISTI - The driver of a Nissan Pathfinder died this afternoon in a three vehicle crash near the intersection of FM 70 and FM 665.
Investigators say the driver of a pickup ran the stop sign at the intersection, hitting the 18-wheeler. The larger truck veered into oncoming traffic where it hit the Pathfinder almost head-on.
Officials have not released the name of the 29-year-old woman from Corpus Christi who was killed. The stretch of road is still shut down for the investigation.
The driver of the pickup was taken to Christus Spohn Memorial by Halo Flight. The driver of the 18-wheeler was also taken to an area hospital.
