CORPUS CHRISTI - We have new information on a West Oso I.S.D investigation into one of its teachers. The district is trying to determine if a male teacher at West Oso High School sent inappropriate text messages to a female student.

We've learned that the Corpus Christi Police Department is now involved in the investigation.

As we've reported, the district has a copy of the text messages that a female student says she received from one of her male teachers.

Now, Superintendent Elizabeth Saenz says that information is being turned over to C.C.P.D.

The teacher remains on administrative leave while the investigation continues.

Saenz says the issue is set to be brought up for discussion at the next school board meeting on February 4th.
