Corpus Christi Police Cruiser Hit by Suspected Drunk Driver

CORPUS CHRISTI - A woman suspected of driving while intoxicated hit a police car last night in Calallen. The officer was headed down the 14000 block of Northwest Boulevard when he saw a red car headed the wrong way.

The officer flashed his lights to get the driver's attention, but the driver kept going until they hit the police car, despite the officer's attempts to move over. Neither driver was seriously injured. Police have not released the woman's name.
